Homemade Hummus

Serves 12
Preparation time 15 minutes
2 15 oz cans garbanzo beans
3 cloves garlic, pressed
2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 salt substitute
After draining the liquid from the garbanzo beans,
pour the beans into a blender. Cover and blend for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
Serve this Middle Eastern dish as a dip or spread with raw vegetables, crackers, or pita bread.
