Layered Bean Dip

30-ounce can pinto beans, blended smooth
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 4ounce can green chilies, chopped
1-2 cups shredded 2% fat grated cheese
Blend beans, cumin, chili powder, garlic, and onion powder until smooth
In 9 inch pie plate sprayed with olive oil cooking spray, spread an even layer of blended bean mixture. Sprinkle chopped green chilies. Spread grated cheese over bean mixture. Top with chopped tomatoes or salsa. Sprinkle cilantro around edges for garnish.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes
Serve with organic blue chips.
